Singer Jelly Roll declared on social media in June 2025 he wouldn’t celebrate Pride Month.
A rumor that circulated online in June 2025 claimed singer and rapper Jelly Roll declared on social media that he wouldn’t celebrate Pride Month.
For example, on June 11, a manager of the Facebook page StarPower USA posted (archived):

Numerous other users also discussed and shared this rumor on (archived) Facebook (archived), Reddit (archived), Threads (archived), Tiktok (archived) and X (archived).
However, searches of Bing, DuckDuckGo and Google found no news media outlets reporting that Jelly Roll made negative remarks about Pride month. His Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, X and YouTube accounts also did not feature any recent mentions of Pride Month. Had he made any such comments, entertainment blogs worldwide would have provided coverage of what would be a controversial story. Rather, this matter involved nothing more than one or more users fabricating a story about entertainment and politics in an attempt to earn ad revenue from WordPress blog articles.
Snopes contacted a representative for Jelly Roll by email to ask if they wished to comment about the rumor and will update this article if we learn more information.
In August 2020, Jelly Roll posted a statement to his official Facebook page about his refusal to engage in negativity. The statement (archived) read in part, “I refuse to engage in any kind of negativity with anyone. I will not entertain anything that is not about lifting people up or helping people out… I don’t care what your race, political agenda, personal sexual preference or religion is. You’ll never hear me in any of those arguments.”
