Whether you’re getting your first touch up a few months after the procedure or a touch up a few years later, it is inevitable. Why? Because it is normal for permanent makeup to fade over time, and touch ups will keep the definition, shape, and color of your brows perfect.
In general, people get touch ups between 12 and 18 months. However, I’ve seen some people go a few years without getting a touch up and their brows still look good.
The healing process for a touch up is the same as your first procedure, except it is a lot shorter most of the time. This is because touch ups don’t recreate the whole eyebrow, they only fix the imperfections.
For this reason, some people report that their eyebrows healed in less than 2 weeks. Remember everyone is different, therefore the healing times may differ per person.
