If you’re still sleeping on the Savannah Bananasit’s time to join the party. This isn’t your typical baseball team. This team is part circus, part comedy act, and 100% dedicated to entertaining their fans.
For their latest on-field performance, the team perfomed the dance known as the “Cupid Shuffle.” It had the entire stadium grinning and the internet buzzing. If you grew up loving the Harlem Globetrotters’ flair, you’re going to eat this up.

During the game held on June 27, 2025, in D.C., the Bananas brought the iconic line dance to life right in the middle of the action and crushed it. With hips moving and feet sliding in sync, they showed off some serious rhythm for guys wearing cleats.

It’s pure joy that reminds you sports are supposed to be fun, and fans were here for it.
@HaileyVictoria joked, “Just out of curiosity, how would one invite the team to their wedding? I can give y’all a two-year notice.”
@luci_ferlein admitted, “Do I know anything about baseball? No. Am I interested in anything baseball? No. Do I still watch any of your videos when you’re on my FYP? Hard, yes.”
And @DannaBulvan nailed it: “Y’all have so much fun and you just put a smile on my face every time. Thank you.”
According to Fox 45 Baltimore, when in town, the team also visited a local children’s hospital, where they signed autographs and danced with the kids. That’s the real magic of the Bananas.
So, whether you’re a diehard baseball fan or someone who still can’t tell a slider from a bunt, the Savannah Bananas make it impossible not to smile. One thing is for sure: this isn’t just about sports. It’s a show. And though they may sell out their games quickly, we’re at least lucky enough to have front-row seats from home.
