Rachel Bilson’s Daughter Briar, 10, Looks All Grown Up in Rare Photo

Rachel Bilson’s little girl looked all grown up as the pair enjoyed a mother-daughter concert together over the weekend. The O.C. alum and her 10-year-old daughter Briar Rose were front and center as they watched Olivia Rodrigo perform in London on Friday—and Bilson shared a rare photo of her mini-me that showed she has one of her mom’s signature features.

Bilson, who shares Briar with ex Hayden Christensen, took her 1.6 million fans behind the scenes of their Olivia Rodrigo show on June 27. As the “bad idea right?” singer performed her biggest hits in Hyde Park, the Hart of Dixie star shared a photo of Rose facing away from the camera towards the stage on her Instagram Story. The tween could be seen wearing a long black t-shirt as a dress while her long brown hair—a similar color to her mom’s dark brunette locks—were braided into a bright purple ribbon that was tied into a bow.

“We love you @oliviarodrigo,” Bilson captioned the photo, which Rodrigo also reported on her Instagram Stories.

Bilson’s photos of her daughter are few and far between (and the actress doesn’t share images with Rose’s face on social media), but she last shared an Instagram tribute to her daughter last October on her 10th birthday.

“She’s 10. Happy birthday my sweet, loving, kind, beautiful girl. You’re my reason,” Bilson captioned a photo of her daughter taken from behind that showed the birthday girl looking out at the ocean while wearing a white short-sleeved blouse with puffed sleeves. Adding the hashtag #bff,” she also shared a photo of the pair wearing matching pink floral pajamas while watching Honey I Shrunk the Kids as she continued, “I love you forever.” The song “Best of Friends” from Disney’s The Fox and the Hound played in the background.

Bilson has previously opened up about the pair’s tight bond, even joking that her daughter didn’t want her to have any more kids in December 2023.

“She’s so adamant. She’s like, ‘You’re not allowed to have a baby,’” Bilson told viewers on her podcast, explaining, “She’s like, ‘No, you’re not having a baby, Mom.’ Well, it’s just been us. She’s almost 9, you know, so she’s very accustomed to our little situation.”
