What will the Solo Leveling live-action K-drama be about?
The Solo Leveling live-action K-drama will likely follow the same events as the drama and anime. If you are unfamiliar with the story, it is set in Seoul, South Korea, in a world where warriors with magic abilities, known as “hunters,” protect humanity from magic beasts while clearing Dungeons. Hunters are ranked by their abilities into six categories: the lowest rank E, D, C, B, A, and a special category known as S.
Hunters are graded by their innate abilities and thus are stuck in their ranks for life. Or so they thought. The story centers on Sung Jinwoo, who is described as a “weak” E-rank hunter at the beginning of the story, but who climbs his way up the ranks after gaining extraordinary powers following a near-death experience.
