Britney Spears’s Son Jayden Is All Grown Up in Rare Photo with His Mom

Britney Spears’s son Jayden was all smiles as he posed with his mom for a rare joint selfie and video on Sunday, June 15. The “Toxic” singer gave fans a glimpse of her Father’s Day plans with her youngest son in two separate posts shared with her 41.7 million Instagram followers—and the 18-year-old looked all grown up as they reunited for a day together.

“Went to church today!!! Sang and praised!!!” Spears captioned a Boomerang video, which showed her son holding a phone and recording the video as the pair posed in a full-length mirror seemingly at her home. Jayden towered over his mom—no doubt due to his 6’3 stature—and wore a white t-shirt and oversized baggy sweatpants. Meanwhile, the “…Baby One More Time” singer could be seen flipping her blonde hair as she posed in a plunging rose pink drop-waist slip dress with light pink lace lining the neckline, sleeves, waist, and hemline. Spears also shared a still from the video as a photo without using a caption.

The pair’s latest outing comes just days after the singer shared a video of Jayden driving a convertible. Sitting in the passenger seat, Spears could be seen leaning over to tousle her youngest son’s wavy brown hair.

“He is 6’3 and his hands are so big now !!! How long am I going to be in shock ??? It’s so incredibly crazy, it’s not even funny !!! I’m blessed !!! Just please be careful with my heart too !!” she captioned the video.

While Jayden and his older brother Preston grew up in Hawaii with their dad Kevin Federline, it appears he’s spending some time in California. In November, a source told Us Weekly that the teen is currently in California and “reached out” to Spears to work on their “fractured relationship.”

“Jayden is spending time back in California but does not live with Britney. All of his friends are still in California and he wanted to come back after graduating high school,” the source said, noting, “Jayden reached out to Britney and initiated conversation.” The source also added that Jayden is “open to mending the relationship with his mom and seeing where things go.”

The 18-year-old has previously opened up about his relationship with Spears during an appearance in a 2022 ITV News documentary. “We’ve both been through so much pressure in the past,” he said, revealing he “[hopes] for the best for” the “Gimme More” singer. Jayden was also positive about fixing their strained relationship, adding, “I 100 percent think it can be fixed, but I think it’s just going to take a lot of time and effort.”
