Rising star Jonathan Bailey will be seen in Jurassic World Rebirth as Doctor Henry Loomis. As a new video released by Universal revealed, portraying the charismatic scientist wasn’t the only job Bailey had for the production of the upcoming blockbuster. It turns out that the Bridgerton star is also a part of the sequel’s soundtrack. The actor reveals that he played with an orchestra back in high school, which is why the studio allowed him to display his musical talent by playing clarinet for Rebirth’s score. The video also shows the film’s director, Gareth Edwards, praising Bailey for stepping up to the challenge of playing with professional industry musicians. Alexandre Desplat, the composer behind Jurassic World Rebirth’s original soundtrack, was also excited about Jonathan Bailey’s involvement with the musical aspect of the film. The Wicked star will continue to display his talents on the big screen when Jurassic World Rebirth premieres in theaters this summer. After Jonathan Bailey is seen running away from dinosaurs in Jurassic World Rebirth, the actor will reprise his role as Fiyero in Wicked: For Good. The first part of the musical adaptation, directed by Jon M. Chu, turned out to be a massive hit for Universal Pictures, and audiences can’t wait for the launch of the story’s conclusion later this year. Fiyero will play a pivotal role in the next installment of the franchise; his connection to both Glinda (Ariana Grande) and Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) will define the future of Oz.
What Is ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ About?
Jurassic World Rebirth will allow fans to return to the iconic franchise some time after the events of Jurassic World: Dominion. Our planet’s environment has turned out to be hostile towards the remaining dinosaurs, leading the creatures to hide away in remote, tropical locations. Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson), Henry Loomis, and Duncan Kincaid (Mahershala Ali) will be recruited on a secret mission to retrieve DNA from some of the largest dinosaurs on Isla Nublar in order to save every prehistoric creature on the planet. As the title of the movie suggests, Jurassic World Rebirth will move away from the characters audiences saw in the previous Jurassic World movies. Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) and Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) defined the adventures of an entire generation of fans thanks to their appearances in the recent trilogy. A decade after the first Jurassic World movie premiered in theaters, Zora, Henry, and Duncan will usher viewers into a new era of the Jurassic Park legacy. Jurassic World Rebirth premieres in theaters on July 2. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.
