Nature enthusiast Prakash from Sircilla town, along with a few other green volunteers, threw 48 kg of custard apple (sithapal) seeds in the forest area near Shivangalapalle village in Konraopet mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district on Sunday (July 13, 2025).
He took up the initiative to increase forest cover and address growing human-monkey conflicts. Mr. Prakash earned praise for his green initiatives such as dispersing seed balls using drones in Manala, Garjanapally, Akkapalli and other forest areas in the district in the past.

“Community-led green initiatives will help increase forest cover and conserve biodiversity,” he said and suggested that solar-powered CCTV cameras be installed on the forest routes to step up vigil and protect wildlife.
