RWD Prices Announced
Tata has announced prices for the rear-wheel drive variants of the Harrier EV. Prices start at Rs. 21.49 lakh for the Adventure 65 and top out at Rs. 27.49 lakh (Introductory ex-showroom). Prices for the AWD (QWD in Tata speak) variants will be announced on 27 June, with bookings set to open from 2 July.

RWD Powertrain Option and Battery Pack
The rear motor produces 234bhp while the front motor produces 154bhp and they have a combined torque figure of 504Nm, one of the highest among EVs in this part of the market. It can be had with two battery packs- a 65kW and 75kW and Tata claims a range of 627km for the latter. The exact claimed range for both battery packs across both motor options is expected to be revealed on 27 June.
The automaker has said that 250kms of range can be added in just 15 minutes. The 20-80 per cent charge time is 25 minutes when plugged into a 120kW DC fast charger. It offers both V2L and V2X as a part of the package. The battery pack warranty for first registration is unlimited and applicable for private buyers only. In case of ownership change, warranty on HV Battery shall be 10 years or 2,00,000 km – whichever is earlier from the date of first registration.

Features and Safety
Mimicking the ICE Harrier in terms of offerings, Tata has included things like dual-zone climate control, dual digital screens, powered and ventilated front seats, level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera with transparent bonnet function, 10 speakers JBL music system and connected car technology. Its party piece is an auto park function which is a first in this part of the market. On the safety front, all versions get six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control and ISOFIX child seat mounting points.
