Tata Motors has officially introduced the Harrier EV AWD with a price tag of Rs. 28.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The model, which scored a five-star rating in the BNCAP crash test, features the brand’s Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) technology in this variant.

Powering the new Tata Harrier EV AWD is a 75kWh battery pack paired with two electric motors, one on each axle. The front and rear motors develop 156bhp and 235bhp respectively, while the torque output stands at 504Nm. The QWD version has a claimed range of 622km on a single charge, while the C75 range stands between 460km and 490km.

Features exclusive to this top-spec Harrier EV AWD variant include a boost mode, off-road assist, and six terrain modes, including Normal, Snow/Grass, Mud-Ruts, Sand, Rock Crawl, and Custom. A few other notable features include a Level 2 ADAS suite, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, HD IRVM, transparent bonnet, 360-degree camera, rear comfort headrests and sunshade curtains, seven airbags, AVAS, OTA updates, TPMS, 65W USB Type-C charging ports, and electrically adjustable front seats.

Tata Motors will commence bookings of the Harrier EV on 2 July, with deliveries expected to commence shortly after.
