Introduction
With over 1.5 million units sold globally, the XC60 has been Volvo’s best-selling model since its 2017 launch, and a top performer in the plug-in hybrid segment in Europe. This popular SUV is set for a refresh in India, marking its second facelift since launch. The Swedish automaker is giving the model a subtle design overhaul and introducing new tech features, all while retaining the existing powertrains.
Exterior
The refreshed Volvo XC60 boasts a sleek new look, thanks to its revamped front grille, redesigned alloy wheels, and darker tail lights. The model is also available in two new colours, Forest Lake, and Aurora Silver, with Mulberry Red making its debut with the facelift.
Interior
Inside the new XC60, the carmaker has revamped the interior, featuring a larger 11.2-inch touchscreen with enhanced features, new apps, and seamless over-the-air updates (OTA). With 21 per cent increased pixel density, the display is crisper than ever, and powered by Google and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, it delivers lightning-fast performance and stunning graphics.
Launch Timeline
The Volvo XC60 facelift is slated for its India launch on 1 August, 2025. As the second-generation model gets a mid-life update, we anticipate a slight price hike. The refreshed XC60 will compete with luxury SUVs like the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, and the Audi Q5 in India.
