A Luxurious Start
MG Select is set to begin its premium innings in India with the launch of the M9 luxury MPV. Targeting rivals such as the Toyota Vellfire and the Kia Carnival, the M9 will be available in a single top-spec variant, fully equipped with all the features that MG has to offer for this model.

Powertrain and Safety Pack
The M9 will be powered by a 90kWh battery pack, offering a company-claimed range of 548km. Its front-wheel-drive (FWD) motor delivers 245bhp and 350Nm of torque. Safety features include Level 2 ADAS with over eight functions, offering various levels of driver assistance.
The India-spec model has received a five-star Euro NCAP crash test rating. In addition to the ADAS suite, it also comes with:
- Seven airbags
- ABS with EBD
- Traction Control Programme (TCP)

In line with its premium positioning, the M9 features a comprehensive set of amenities, particularly for rear-seat occupants. Notably, this variant is called the Presidential Limo, and its highlights include:

Exterior Highlights
The exterior design features low-set headlamps at the front, massive sliding doors along the sides, and large alloy wheels. The rear design is minimalist, with slim tail lamps connected by a light bar. The M9 will be available in three exterior shades:
- Pearl White
- Concrete Grey
- Metal Black
Expected Pricing
The MG M9 is expected to be priced between Rs. 60 lakh and Rs. 70 lakh, directly positioning it against the Toyota Vellfire and the Kia Carnival in the luxury MPV segment.
