- Six airbags standard on all variants of Ertiga and Baleno
- Prices increased by up to 1.4 per cent for Ertiga and 0.5 per cent for Baleno
Maruti Suzuki India has announced that six airbags will now be offered as standard across all variants of the Ertiga and Baleno. The update is effective from 16 July, 2025.

With this safety feature upgrade, the company has also implemented a price revision. The ex-showroom prices for the Ertiga will increase by an average of 1.4 per cent, while the Baleno will see a more modest hike of around 0.5 per cent.
The addition of six airbags aligns with Maruti Suzuki’s broader focus on enhancing occupant safety across its lineup. Until now, these models offered dual airbags as standard, with six airbags limited to select higher variants.

While no other mechanical or feature changes have been announced, both models continue to be offered with the existing powertrain options. The Ertiga is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine, available with mild-hybrid tech and CNG variants. The Baleno comes with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, also available with a factory-fitted CNG option.
