- Expected to be launched later this year
- Will get significant interior and exterior updates
Mahindra’s product offensive is not slowing down anytime soon, as the company continues testing fresh products slated for launches in the near future. Short on the heels of the spy shots of the new-gen Bolero, pictures of the Thar’s three-door facelift iteration have now surfaced on the web.
The Mahindra Thar three-door facelift is expected to get subtle tweaks to the exterior design. The camouflage at the front and rear hints at where the changes will lie, some of which could include fresh front and rear bumpers, tweaked headlamp and tail light setups, fenders on all four sides, new grille, and new alloy wheels.

Inside, the facelifted Mahindra Thar three-door could come equipped with ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, blind spot monitor, new interior theme, and a revised touchscreen unit. Under the hood, it is likely to source power from the same 2.2-litre diesel, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engines mated to six-speed manual and torque converter automatic transmission systems. The refreshed three-door Thar is expected to be launched towards the end of the year. Stay tuned for updates.
