Honda Cars India has reduced the ex-showroom price of the City e:HEV, giving it a Rs. 95,000 cut. Offered in a single, fully loaded ZX variant, it is now priced at Rs. 19.90 lakh (ex-showroom), making the model more accessible.
The City e:HEV combines a 1.5‑litre Atkinson‑cycle petrol engine with two electric motors and an e-CVT gearbox. Together, these components produce over 120bhp and 253Nm of torque, returning a claimed fuel efficiency of 27.26kmpl.

Highlighting features of the City Hybrid include LED headlights with integrated DRLs, 16‑inch dual-tone alloy wheels, eight‑inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, eight‑speaker sound system, wireless charging pad, semi-digital instrument cluster, and an electric sunroof.
The City rivals other sedans like the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, and the Skoda Slavia in the segment, which offer only petrol and mild-hybrid variants.
